Control rooms and monitoring centres
A control room runs continuously, so it carries requirements a meeting room never does: panels rated for 24/7 duty, redundant power and predictable behaviour when a single node fails.
A monitoring centre gathers data where the site is spread out: a production area, building services, a transport network, a perimeter. The wall shows process mimic diagrams, surveillance cameras, alarm messages and operator screens. Layouts switch by scenario: normal operation, incident review, shift handover.
Equipment is chosen for continuous duty. Consumer televisions do not fit the job: they are not rated for 24/7 operation, they have no narrow bezel between modules and no remote diagnostics. Professional panels are built for constant load, report their own status to the monitoring system and can be replaced module by module without dismantling the whole wall.
Duty operation means the system cannot be stopped for maintenance. We build in power redundancy, duplication of critical signal paths and access to equipment without interrupting the shift, either from behind the wall or through pull-out mounts.
What the system consists of
- Video wall of professional panels rated for 24/7 operation
- Wall controller and layout management system
- Duty shift workstations
- Integration with video surveillance and telemetry systems
- Public address and intercom
- Uninterruptible power supplies and backup feeds
What the work covers
- Survey and definition of the sources to be displayed
- Design of the wall, the workstations and the cabling infrastructure
- Supply and installation of equipment
- Layouts configured for duty shift scenarios
- Commissioning and staff training
- Scheduled maintenance and support
